Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for two bright and energetic candidates to join a dynamic Internet & search engine marketing agency based in Brighton. Search engine marketing is one the fastest growing Internet marketing sectors. Some of our clients include: CancerBackup, A Quick Sale, Stannah, Damovo, HSA, Haymarket Publishing and Help the Aged.

Candidate role & skills

The role will involve supporting account managers in all areas of our Internet and search engine marketing services. The work will be varied with good prospects for developing new skills and career opportunities. The candidate should have an excellent working knowledge of the Internet, be confident, positive and proactive and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Multi-tasking and good organisational skills are essential.

This is a marketing oriented role and day to day responsibilities are likely to include the following:

  • Researching keywords typed into search engines like Google
  • Online content writing
  • Internet website research & link building
  • Preparing website marketing campaign & visitor reports
  • Setting up and managing search engine marketing campaigns

It’s not vital that you have experience in the above areas as on the job training will be provided. What is important is that you are able to think on your feet, problem solve and have the energy and enthusiasm to work in a challenging but rewarding and flexible work environment. A GSOH is also important, as is a passion for the Internet and eating homemade apple pie!

Computer skills & qualifications required

You will need to be a competent user of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and have an excellent knowledge of using the Internet and search engines to research websites. You will also need to have obtained at least a grade C in both English and Maths at GCSE level along with a second class honours degree.

Salary: £14,500 plus training leading to rapid career progression plus 20 days holiday + 8 days public holiday + Benefits
